[Seunggi just finished performing his 3rd song “Unfinished Story” and this was his 3rd ment/talk… and the soldiers had been yelling out ‘Squad Leader’ since he first took the stage^^]

You have to please stop calling me Squad Leader since my shoulders feel heavy^^ (Soldiers: Yes!)

I will be discharged at the end of October (soldiers express loud dismayed sighs of ohhhhhhhㅠㅠㅠ)  You’re cheering for me, to congratulate me, right?!^^ (Soldiers yell out cracking Seunggi upㅋㅋㅋ)

When I was first assigned to our Brigade… I wasn’t a soldier who had applied to be in the Special Forces.  At the time, I was a common recruit at the Nonsan Army Training Center who had received an intelligence specialty. (All the Nonsan enlistees are given an exam to assess their specialty as a soldier… and for Seunggi, it was intelligence specialty^^♡)

I learned I had been assigned to the Special Forces on the day of the Completion Ceremony… um and I didn’t know what that entailed at the time.  They said there was airborne training and I thought~ what, more training? Training at Nonsan is good enough, no? I was somewhat curious too.  But I had acrophobia and I heard you had to parachute, so I thought~ just tell them I can’t go; I have acrophobia, how can I go?!  But the army is not about that, right? (Soldiers: Yes!)

But I came to realize that life can really be unpredictable… There are so many things I learned and conquered through coming to the Special Forces.  All the military management/executives here are so very impressive and I thought how do they overcome all these things, bearing all the pains and train, and work so hard for our country?

Outside of here, there may be people who are famous, have status, or a lot of money or stuff like that… but all that aside, I saw that the people here, moreso than anyone else, are sincere and strong-willed and how proud we are of the Special Forces. (Applause~~!!!!)

Because of you, starting with the severe winter training, then The Long March and the remaining naval training… I’ll have so many varied experiences when I leave.  Particularly, in the case of The Long March… the biggest test of my life!  Like how can someone make people do this?  And the fact that people do it! (everyone laughing because they totally get itㅋㅋㅋ) All of you who do it because they make us~ you are truly amazing and it shocked me.  If someone next next to us would have given up, I would have given up together.  But no one gave up!

As expected, my feet were all bruised and there were so many times I wanted to give up, but the comrades walking next to me… Through The Long March, I came to poignantly understand why we are comrades and have to work together to be strong soldiers. (awww I’m remembering how that kind-soul soldier gave Seunggi a ride when he saw him walking up with his heavy bags for his second and last The Long Marchㅠㅠㅠㅠ #ThankYou)

To the soldiers seated up front here and there are others who will be serving further, and all the management/executives and majors here continuing to serve and protect our country~ I will always support you from wherever I am, and I will always take pride in my Special Forces ties as I carry out my life in the entertainment industry. Thank you.  (Applause~~!!!!)

Now it’s my last song. (Soldiers loudly express loud disappointment lol).  Typically the sequence is that you say it’s the last song and you respond by saying~ Encore^^ (hahahaha Seunggi teasing them again about shouting Encore after his first song! their response like ohhhhhhh okay now that they get it! this is all too cute^^) But you can be disappointed all you want to your heart’s desireㅋㅋㅋ. (Seunggi then responds to a soldiers shout-out… ok all this sort of army bro-code/speak interaction I obviously don’t get lol).

Everyone’s ready to race, right? (Soldiers: Yes!) How about we hear it then~ 13th Black Panther scream! (Black Panther = symbol for Special Forces Airborne Brigade; soldiers scream!) How come the best never comes out the first time~ that’s always fascinating. Ok let’s go a second time… and the people in the back, especially our management/executives who may be conscientious and be thinking~ is it okay if I do this? (Seunggi sways his shoulders to demonstrate feeling the music hahaha)… you’re going to have to throw away that thinking todayㅎㅎㅎ (did he just call out the army higher-ups?! lol)

Ok we’ll go one more time. One more time~ 13th Black Panther scream! (loud screams!) Ok let’s go~ Let’s Go On Vacation.

Today, as we celebrate our 13th Airborne Brigade’s 40th Anniversary, we thought a lot about how we can showcase more things this year and make it a great concert. And again this time, without hesitation… perhaps because our brigade has good fortune, many people have come to celebrate with us. Seeing that we have a wonderful stage prepared, I think I am someone who has really good fortune^^ (hehehe only Seunggi could say something like this~ rather than a self-boast, sincerely conveying his gratitude for such fortune♡) I’m thankful we have a packed stage ready for you.

For my 3rd song, I’ll continue with one ballad song… rather than songs I’ve sang a lot, this song… you’ll know it when you hear it. When I first appeared on a program called 1 Night 2 Days… Actually, I went on the show to promote my song but somehow that encounter turned into close to 5 years of traveling our country. It is a song very dear to me and a song I want to share with you… I will sing ‘Unfinished Story’ for you~ (and the crowd on cue goes~ Awwwww^^)
